The beach of Marina di Campo
The typical taste of salt in an unparalleled shared paradise
For those who love sparkling, well-equipped beaches, there is another beach close to the agriturismo, the one overlooked by the village of Marina di Campo. This is the longest beach in Elba, about 1300 metres long, and has various equipped establishments, bars and restaurants, making it the most populated on the island. It is made up of fine golden sand and has very shallow waters; in some places, for more than 50 metres from the shoreline, you can walk and play ball or rackets.
For this reason, it is a very popular beach for families with small children. Marina di Campo also offers various opportunities for sportsmen and women and for their leisure time: diving centre, sailing school, windsurfing school and hire, boat and pedalo hire, guided kayak excursions. On this long coastline there is also a slightly wilder stretch near the Foce. From here, a rocky coastline full of coves and inlets extends as far as Capo Fonza.
